Carol’s Cuisine, Inc., and U.B.I. Financial Services, are pleased to offer a Scholarship Program for Students 14 - 18 years old, for Cooking Lessons at Carol’s Cuisine Cooking School.
The Scholarship will be for the:
” Techniques and Theory of Cooking I “
series of Cooking Lessons. This six-session course has a retail value of $ 390, and will be held on Tuesday evenings March 14, 21, 28 April 4, 11, 18, from 7:15 - 11:30pm, and is a fundamental learning experience for all beginning cooks, and aspiring chefs.
Eligibility:
This Scholarship is only available to Students, 14 to 18 years of age, with a passion for cooking.
How to Apply:
1. Write an essay in response to the following questions:
- Why do you want to be a chef?
- Do you love to eat as much as you love to cook?
- Are you willing to try foods that you’ve never experienced before?
- How hard are you willing to work to achieve success in the culinary arts?
- Why should this scholarship be awarded to you?
2. Prepare your favorite recipe and take a photograph of it. Include a copy of your recipe with your application.
3. Submit a letter of recommendation from one of your teachers.

Scholarship Limitations:
This Scholarship is Non-transferable.
This Scholarship can only be used for the ” Techniques and Theory of Cooking I “ group of Cooking Lessons, and cannot be applied to any other Cooking Lessons.
This Scholarship cannot be redeemed for it’s cash value.
